A brand new event is coming to Bedford, and the Bedford Artisan Trail will be well-represented by local restaurants, farms, breweries and wineries. Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 14th from 4:00 – 8:00 and join the Bedford Artisan Trail in enjoying a wonderful evening of mouth-watering food, delicious beverages, and fantastic entertainment in The Wharton Garden, located behind Bower Center for the Arts at 305 N. Bridge Street in Bedford.
Bedford’s Finest Fare will celebrate Bedford County’s vibrant local foods and beverages. Local chefs from Town Kitchen Provisions, Fishers, Benjamin’s, Bedford Social Club, and Millstone Tea Room will offer a selection of tantalizing gourmet appetizers, entrees, and desserts featuring locally-grown and raised meats, fish and produce from throughout Bedford County and several regional producers. Much of the meat will come from Trail members, Mountain Run Farm, Graham Bass Fish Farm and IdleWild Farm. An array of beverages will include beer from Apocalypse Ale Works and local wines from the Bedford County Wine Trail including Hickory Hill Vineyards and Leo Grande Winery. Island Creek Farm will supply many of the delectable fresh vegetables.
In addition to tasting this sumptuous fare, you can also visit local producers of food, beer and wine at their display tables. Finally, the Harbor Band will entertain you with their energizing mix of Indie-Alt-Rock music.
