Forest Farmers Market Trail Site #38 (15583 Forest Road, Forest, VA 24551)
Weekly Farmers Market – Join us for our open air, producer-only market selling vegetables, fruit, meat, baked goods, plants and artisan crafts. 8:00 am-12:00 pm
Goose Creek Studio Trail Site #29 (302 Court Street, Bedford, VA 24523)
Wearable Art – At Goose Creek Studio, we feature a wide variety of wearable art – jewelry, silk scarves, carved pins, etc. During the July Second Weekend, enter a drawing for free fused glass pendant. 9:30 am-5:00 pm
Hickory Hill Vineyards Trail Site #41 (1722 Hickory Cove Lane, Moneta, VA 24121)
Sunset Saturday – Saturday evenings in the summer vineyard ring with good music, good conversation and dancing fireflies. Hickory Hill’s Sunset Saturdays music series are a popular local lake tradition with our 12th season in 2016. Bring Lawn chairs or a blanket and a picnic. Enjoy our fine wines, grown and made right here by the glass or bottle to enjoy with your fare. Relax, sit back and enjoy the music of local artists as the sun fades and the stars slowly pop out in the sky. $10 General Admission. Kids and Designated Drivers are free. 7:00-10:00 pm
Peaks of Otter Winery Trail Site #29 (302 Court Street, Bedford, VA 24523)
The Annual “Horse and Hound” Wine Festival – Enjoy wine from some of Virginia’s finest wineries while listening to good music and visiting art, craft and food vendors. Virginia’s most unique wine festival has numerous events throughout the day with horses and dogs as the primary attractions such as the Parade of Horses, lure course and muskrat racing. Families will enjoy this festival because it appeals to both young and old and we have a Kiddie Korral. The event takes place on the spacious and gracious grounds of Johnson’s Orchards & Peaks of Otter Winery with spectacular Blue Ridge mountain views. 11:00 am-6:00 pm
The Electric Company Trail Site #28 (207 East Depot Street, Bedford, VA 24523)
Delmus Phelps – Journey to Create Beauty – Delmus Phelps, of Lynchburg Virginia has been an active painter since the mid 70’s creating works in the Realist tradition. Being inspired by the nature around him and in things we tend to collect. Delmus produces still life and floral oil paintings in the Classical/Contemporary Style on canvas and panels. With a particular interest in sharp focus realism, he produces still life works of incredible detail. His floral pieces exude a peace and serenity much needed in today’s hectic lifestyles. 11:00 am-5:00 pm
